Laura Gayle
Resident in Counseling
Hi, I’m Laura, a Resident in Counseling who works with children, adolescents, and adults, with a special focus on neurodiversity and emotional regulation. My goal is to create a space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to explore their experiences at their own pace.
My background includes several years of relationship-centered work in school, community, and residential settings, including The Keswick School and KidsPeace New England. I recently completed my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at University of Southern Maine, and I draw from evidence-based and creative interventions –including skill-building, play-based approaches, and expressive tools—to support insight, emotional regulation, and practical coping skills. I provide clinical services under the supervision and licensure of Adam Williams, LPC & RPT-S, as I complete my residency hours.
My style is collaborative and relational. I believe therapy works best when we work as a team integrating reflection, psychoeducation, and developmentally attuned strategies to help clients and families understand patterns and create meaningful change.
When I’m not in the office, you can find me horseback riding, spending time with my cat, watching movies, or reading!
